name of person- Frederick douglas

place of birth- born in 1818

Frederick Douglas was born a slave, he did nothing but work.untill he got older and tried to escape and he did and had a wife and4 kids.every since he escaped he had to change his name and things like that. untill he knew that a good friend bought his freedom. Every since he was apart of the underground railroad, helped support womens rights, he was a good man. He died in 1895 from a white man.

accomplishments-  Published his writing, helped free slaves.

Interest me- That he helped free slaves and support womens rights.

strengths and weaknesses -I think one strength he had is standing up for what he believed never letting anyone push him around. A weakness was probably that when he kept talking they still wouldnt stop slavery.  One of his characteristic  thats like me is standing up for myself.

some obsticles that Frederick had was was to deal with his slave masters untill he escaped, but he was still on the run untill a good friend bought his freedom, but still he had worries because any master could just take him in and he had no rights, and no one would give him a good paying job to support his family. White men had to be first in everything.

a racial situation was when Frederick helped free slaves in the unerground railroad with Harriet Tubman. he helped free slaves, it was a very bad racial thing, thats why Frederick and Harriet did the things they did.

People who inspired Frederick was the speaker who standed up for what they believed. Because he did it too and he inspired other to speak up.
